Word reading, Spelling & Learning Vocabulary
PhOrMeS is a Foundation-Year 6 Word Reading, Spelling & Learning Curriculum that has been developed exclusively at Brandon Park Primary School. BPPS uses the PhOrMeS curriculum to teach children to decode words, spell words and learn word meanings. PhOrMeS covers the essential skills and knowledge in phonics (sound letter relationships), orthography (spelling patterns), morphology (parts of meaning), etymology (word origins) and semantics (whole word meanings).
PhOrMeS is a curriculum that is freely available at www.phormes.com for any schools to use.
